Thumbs down that suspension prob!!!! help me out!!!

when i drive i hear the whooooooooooooooo sound especially low speeds and turns i went to do a tune up and told me it was the wheel bearing on the right. The price was rediculous to fix so i passed i went shopping around and found a shop that only uses genuine parts not "OEM like parts " it seemed like a decent shop they did the right side for 240 and told me that my bushings were bad and i had a leak on my left shock so i still hear the sound and im out 240 thinking it would go away please help.....Should i spend the dough and get the bushings and fix the shock and pray thats what it is? BTW i love the site first post....new honda owner of 2001 ex coupe i love the little coupe its just i think it might be dagerous to drive like dat and if i do it what do guyz think is a fair price parts and labor included?

check the bushings... it could most likely be a bushing

Re: that suspension prob!!!! help me out!!!

Entire new LCA ~ $90.
Entire hub with bearings ~ 75.
Replacement of either doesnt require rocket science, but both will require an alignment, so you're up to $150 or $135 respectively, but it depends if they rolled that in.
It doesnt sound aweful... but its probably also DIYable.

Majestic Honda (www.hondaautomtiveparts.com). OEM LCA's are 102.29 and they come with all the bushings. I bought one not too long ago since the guy who owned the car before had put it in the ditch and bent the driver LCA. From the drop-down menu select "Knuckle".
