Angry noisy rear end, driving me crazy!!!

ok, my rear end squeaks like crazy on a bumpy road, every little bump, and its driving me nuts. for a little history, i have kyb agx struts with evotion springs, and have replaced the rear knuckle front bushings, because of the tsb. what the hell could the problem be here, ive tried everything to try and stop the problem, but nothing works, replacing the bushings worked for like 3 weeks, but squeak started again.

any ideas??

urethane bushing? urethane squeaks unless you grease it... but you don't have to grease urethane to make it last, it just makes it stop squeaking.

try trimming the dust covers, trim about 1/2 inch off the bottom, that usually does the trick.

make sure ur front struts are aligned correctly.....because for 01s thats what usually makes a squeeking noise (even though it might sound like its the rear)

if you have aftermarket shocks, the part he's talking about is the part of the shock where the top the spring meets the shock and inbetween there is a black dust cover. When you go over bumps, the springs might be rubbing up against the dust cover, causing sqeaking. If this is the case, you can get some electrical tubing wrap and just wrap the top part of the springs. It solved the noise for a lot of our members. I was going to do the same when i had my tein basics installed, but the sound went away after 3wks.

when you replaced the bushings, did you put a load on the rear suspension when you tightened them?

i had a mechanic install them, and no, he didnt put a load on them when he installed them, but after it rains, the sound goes away, at least for now it has gone away, i dont know why. after i had them installed, the sound went away for like 2 weeks, but drove like 1000 miles round trip, and by the time i got back the sound was back. as far as right now, no noise.
