coilovers

so about a year ago I put some dropzone coilovers in my car and slammed my car to the max likr 4inches....but ever since them I've been to cheep to spend money on new struts...but i cant take the f'n noise anymore. evertime i hit a pot hole or a bump it sounds like someone is under my car setting off bombs. How can I fix this ? is new struts my only answer ? what kind of struts do i need to buy and how much is it going to run me?

Sounds like you're bottoming out the struts. I'm not sure what kind you're gonna need, but it seems like that's your answer.

probably cause your suspension is real stiff. i have springs on stock struts. only thing it does is make a pop noise when i turn the wheel far sometimes. my drop isnt slammed though so i dont hit speed bumps and all that and i dont need a camber kit either cause its not real far of a drop. my tires wear how they did without the drop. you should get a camber kit to if you get the new struts. if your slamming it that low you deff need those.

Not quite. i have stiff suspension and his coils are no where near my spring rates and I have no bottoming out.

He should have gotten a camber kit with the springs not with the shocks.

He is bottoming out, his shocks are toast and probably his bushings. I would also check the oil pan and tranny for leaks...

Read the FAQ and search for answers on shocks.

no leaks in the tranny or oil pan....I have a rear camber kit but it's the front struts that are making all the noise..

Uh they are blown...get new ones...problem solved.

You can't dump your car and expect stock shocks to take it for over a year. Your bushings may be ripped too, so I would check those out.
