Unsure. I just gathered the pix for my website. I have the teins ss pictured above that are next to the stock struts. I love them and the ride is great.

The only think I noticed was that V4 Megans have a straight steering arm not a curved one like the one you posted.

im not positive on this, but im pretty sure they all go down to around the 4" drop area. but the neg camber on that will prolly be so bad you will run out of thread on your camber kit to adjust it. and with a drop like that you would prolly need to leave negitive camber just so your wheels dont rub.

I have the function and form coilovers for my rsx-s but they are almost the same part number for the civic, they go as low as 4 inches and have 24 way adjustability for dampening. So far i've yet to have any issues and they have made a huge difference in ride quality

the ksport/nex/b&g/tein basic are the basic run of the much coilovers...the megan/d2/omnipower/progress are the next level and the near top of the line ones are JIC magic, tein flex, buddy club racing spec, and function and form which are up there...other than that there are a few brands like HKS hypermax rs1/2 which are up there with those others

I was wondering, how well, and actually how, does that EDFC work for the Tein coilovers?

EDFC is fucking sweet. Can't beat one touch controls and memory presets for your dampening to switch while driving.

The EDFC is basically just a servo mounted on top of the coilovers themselves. The same way that you can manually adjust the dampening on say KYB struts with the mini-screwdriver, the EDFC just does it for you. Whenever you select to soften or harden your front/rear shock, it adjusts the screw through the servo.

It's fun stuff.

yeah i did mean how low they went as in like ride height. lol good info though man .... i ussually hear that B&G coilovers go the loweest or the ground controls with koni go the lowest. i would like to know cuz, i love my car dumped. i have a thread in members ride section of my car and its pretty low already but i cant handle the ride, its a terrible ride, worse than a roller coaster. lol x]

But on the EDFC, what exactly is the servo adjusting? I get that it's turning a screw, but is it adjusting the pressure of the gases inside the strut by compressing and decompressing them?

Copied from Tein website EDFC info page:

1.Damping force control function (16 levels / 32 levels)Our damping-force-control-type shock absorbers normally have a built in damping force control function for 16 levels. This function controls the damping force by adjusting the rate of oil flow in the bypass through raising and lowering the damping force control needle built in piston rod for 16 levels. In the EDFC, this function is performed by a stepping motor installed on the top of piston rod, realizing a 16-level control, the same as in the manual control. Moreover, the operation by the controller with a decreased rotation angle has realized a finer adjustment of a 32-level mode in the same control range. The damping force for the front and rear wheels can be separately controlled, and the right and left wheels are simultaneously controlled.
