Swap, changes on handling....
Now that i have my swap done i'm kinda wondering how it has affected the way the car handles. The engine has obviously added weight to the front end. From my experience with the car the characteristics seem to be the same but it's hard for me to judge since I didn't drive the car for half a year. I'm still using the 15mm front and 19mm rear sway bar setup.
Basically what I'm wondering is:
How does added weight in the front affect handling?
Is it similiar to an rsx?

Its 70 lbs out of nearly 2900. You can bump the spring rates up 25 lbs if you feel like it, but the new motor is not going to make a difference. The weight distribution is much better in the coupe/sedan vs the RSX anyways (its 59/41 vs 70/30) because of the long rear overhang and the junk they put back there.

thought crossed my mind......with the greddy intercooler the front rebar was removed. It was reinforced but not anywhere near stock. Does this effect handling and chassis flex?
I autox mine and had it setup neutral to maybe a bit of oversteer before. The swap does make the back end feel a bit lighter and add to the oversteer somewhat. I had to raise my coilovers to compensate for the added weight, but I think new springs and different shocks may be in order.
