I've read the DIY on replacing OEM springs with aftermarket that helped me in taking out my old struts, but i have 2 small questions for u. 1) I'm goin to use diy to change my 02 coupe EX struts to KYB GR-2 or Monroe Sensa-Trac , which one should i use between the two? and which ever one u recommend, how do i install it, are they just inserts or do they come with that part that connects to the tie rod? if they dont come with the part that connects to the tie rod, how do i replace the original insert with the new one??
2) And after installing these struts, i have a upper strut bar that i want to use but when placed in position, it blocks my engines air filter when i want to replace it, or can the long bar be removed easily by the bolts on the ends whenever i want to clean my filter???
