Skunk2 Question, NO HATERS ONLY HELPERS!

My shop is putting on Skunk2 coilovers on my 01 EX....problem, he is stating that is looks like a drag car. He says the rear is lowered as far as it goes and there is still wheel gap!!!??? WTF??? Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions as to what needs to be done? And please no haters saying Skunk2 sucks, buy gc or yadda yadda. This is what I have, and this is my problem w/ installing them. please help! thanx

Ride heights almost never go as low as advertised. I have Progress coilvers, which is advertised to go as low as 4 inches, but in reality, i can't get it to go lower than 2" at its max.
The guy at the shop is probably an idiot because the springs also need time to settle. You can't expect it to go all the way down after installation. Take your car out to the freeway and beat it hard. It'll be lower after about 100 miles or so.

Check to see if he cut the bump stops or not, That may be keeping it from going any lower.

well you really cant mess it up. the rear springs are thin, the fronts are wide

you can fit the rear springs inside of the front springs. cause thats how my OEM ones are right now.

he said the directions that came with the coilovers said to place the smaller ones in the front and the bigger in the rear....he thought that was backwards but it's what they called for he said....so it should be the bigger in the front and small in the rear, correct? that just makes more sense cuz the there is more weight in the front so it would need the bigger

These are sleeve coilovers correct? And they are going over stock struts? In the front he should have cut the base that the stock springs sit on along with the rubber stop marked in green.

On the rear all You should have to do is cut the rubber stop. Also marked in green.

Uh, he probably had to drive it and let the rear springs settle down. The fronts settle faster because of the engine weight.

mine have a lil bit of a drag look too, but i mean the springs seem to play all the part. GC would work best. but i love my ride for now, one-day maybe some TEIN SS-p
