Strut bar wont fit anymore

I installed my neuspeed sport springs yesterday, and when i tried to reinstall my neuspeed strut tower bar, it would not fit. the bolt holes were off on one side by over half and inch. when i first put the bar on, it was a tight fit, but nothing like this. the only thing i can think of is that i only installed the front springs, and am doing the rears today. but i dont see how that would affect the front strut bar. If anyone has any ideas about this i would really appreciate it.

If they were brand new, maybe they just need to settle some. If they were new, I would say install the rears and wait a week or so to try installing the strut bar again

no, they were used, but only for around 500 miles i was told. i was thinkin about jackin up one side of the car and trying to reposition the strut some.

also, i screwed up my alignment puttin the springs on, would that have any affect on the strut bars fitment?

thanks for all the help guys we did finally get it on. One of my stronger friends applied inward pressure and got the bar to flex just enough to make it reach the bolts. Jackin it up was the next option

Jacking the car up would have been better than flexing the bar. When you jack up both sides of the front, the strut towers flex inward, and allows the bar to be fitted properly. When you drop the car after installing the bar it sits and works a lot better.

I was going to suggest you just have to apply more pressure, but I guess you figured that out. My neuspeed bar acts the same way.
