i bought hayame v2 coilovers from one of the members for $250 shipped. got no problem with it. tein basics is coilovers right? test drive his car first if you can so that you feel the ride quality first hand
i baught used coils tein ss from a member here and had nothing but good things to say about them.. just make sure you check the condition and test drive if you can.. with that said you should be fine
he said he had it for 6 months... so im debating now... 450 for those... or just go with brand new pro kit with brand new shocks... O and since were on it... How long would it last if i get the pro kit springs and shocks... how long do they usually last? daily driver... no racing... no track or anything

they recommend replacing shocks every 50k even if they're not blown. but 6 months on teins is like new. plus its way better than springs and shocks combo because you can't adjust the springs, only coilovers.

Any decient set of springs (that would be the reputable brands like H&R, Eibach, Hypercoil, Neuspeed, etc..... the brands people know about) have "no sag" warranties, the spring stays within 5% of its spec length for the life of the spring. Live of a spring is really in number of cycles rather than miles, but lets just say that a spring should last longer than the car.
Shocks on the other hand, I'd be more leary of.... far easier to damage, milage definietly hurts them, they'll bear the brunt of the abuse from being slammed or driven hard. If you have a bad feeling, then trust it. Buy new ones. Especially on the Jap full coilovers... getting them rebuilt seems to be a major affair.
