Stech VS. pro kit
Stech VS. pro kit
i have a sedan and yes i have searched around a lot... i saw a lot of pics but i was just wondering which one is better to go with on a SEDAN... i know the rear sags more with the stechs but its wierd because i have seen a couple stech dropped sedans that dont sag at all... basically just asking for opinions on which spring is better on my sedan... (only looking to drop a inch or a lil over a inch.. 1.5? )
well im not really the type of person that would change my heights... id prolly just keep it set and not touch it so i dunno if i want coilovers.... im just a daily driver... never goes to the track or anything like that... does anyone know where to get the pro kit/camber kit/ shocks cheap? or for a good price... i dont wanna get ripped off cuz i really dont know my prices hahaa

go with neuspeed sport springs. trust me. they're cheaper than eibach and they're a better drop. its 1.5 in drop in the front and 1.75 in the back. ruffryde009 (pat) said that mine was "the perfect drop".
i was going to plan and get the neuspeed springs and tokico hps, but i tried and saved it up a little more and got the tein basic. i dunt auto-x or drag or race to extreme, so the tein basic was good enough for me on daily drivin plus a little fun in the turns.
Trust me get tein basics. You might think that you will never adjsut your ride height, but things change. I said that before too then before i knew it i adjusted my ride height over 6 times already. It'll save you more money in the long run.

you'll have more problem with spring than you think. eventually you'll need new shocks, and also the rear sags. but then the front driver side will be an inch lower than the pass side because of weight distribution. all can be fixed with adjustable coilovers like tein basic or SS.
i have the eibach prokits as well. i love them the rear hasnt started sagging at all and i have had them for about a year now. as stated before the comfort or the ride is uncompromised. i used the kyb agx 4 way adjustable shocks as well that help with the ride stiffness if needed. i would get shocks though. i would assume if you have had your shocks on for at least 50k miles then you should replace them anyway. the rear may sag with out them. i donthave ay problem either with one side being lower than the other. the things sits straight.

i have the prokit on my car, looks good.. some may not noticed its dropped at all, but once you upgrade your rims size a bit, it'll make it look really good. the back does sag right now, doesnt really bother me though, and i'm running on stock shocks until i get some money for new ones.. good luck.
gearbox is right about the front pass. & driver though. its uneven if you really really notice

oi c... man this things going back and forth...now im in debate PRO KIT or Tein Basics.... I got a quote for basics for 1000 installed but i dunno about the pro kit... if i go with the pro kit id be getting everything at once... the shocks and camber kit all at the sametime

you know that the pro kit is designed for stock springs and shocks right; the drop is so minimal that shocks and struts don't have THAT much more strain on them so that they won't get quickly damaged. Also a camber kit isn't required as well from what I've heard. It's up to you though, I'm dropped on the pro kit w/ stock everything else and it's the shiznit
why replace components when they are still good?
why replace components when they are still good? if you want more ride quality go with eibach, if you want more of a drop go with tein or neuspeed. i've got the prokit on right now and even though i love it, i've been thinking that later down the road i might change to sportline or tein.
^^ why don't you just get what you want? apparently there are mixed opinions about this. What i say is get the best and forget about the rest.
If you go with springs and later down the line decide to drop it more, or that now you want coilovers instead, then you will be spending more money in the long run. Its up to you. Stop asking the same question over and over. You've had enough replies to decide what you want to do.
Its an A or B choice. Springs or coilovers. CHOOSE

I say go with the prokit. I got it on my gf's 98 civic. My 05 civic and my brothers 00 hatchback. LOVEE ITTT... The ride feels like factory. I live in new orleans where the roads are horrible. My factory shocks still handles well. No Camber wear either (Knock on wood).

its not that i'm the only one complaining, i'm just the first one to point it out. If you read my post i am trying to help you. I even searched for a few threads for you that was selling coilovers and springs. TRUST me i'm trying to help you, but if you keep on asking "should i get eibach or coilovers" over and over and over. all in all, i am trying to help.
thanks man i appreciate it... anyways... getting back on topic... ive decided to go with the pro kit... i just need a ballpark price now... pro kit... shocks... and camber kit... all for _______? without cost of labor yet... cuz i think my friends gonna install
pro kit roughly 200 bucks, tokico blues roughly 320 shipped on ebay, and SPC camber kit roughly 140-150. So all together you will get around 670 bucks.
I got my Basics a while back for 830 and camber kit for 125, which is 955. If you're patient you will be able to find deals for cheaper.
