Tein and Tie rod problem, Urgent
Tein and Tie rod problem, Urgent
Alright, I just ran into a huge problem.
I have Tein SS on my car which was making popping noises on the passenger front side for quite a while. My buddy and I tried everything to get rid of it but it wouldn't go away. I took it in to Crown alignment today, and they said the tie rod nut came loose and fell off, damaging the taper on the tein shock that connects it to the tie rod end. They're working on it right now but is there anything I can do about this if they can't fix it? I got the Teins at Phantom (the guys who worked on Acurabot). Any help is good help right now, this is frustrating as hell.
Thanks Guys

Update: The tie rod was secured properly, but the car was still making a little bit of noise after the alignment. I took her in to honda to make sure it wasnt sumthing other than suspension making noise and the tech said the springs on the teins werent tight enough, thus turning while I turned the steering wheel and making noise. Any suggestions? the teins have 6 threads left, the car has no wheel gap, I dont understand how the springs arent tight enough. I don't know what to do, any help is appreciated.Thanks.
