Most comforable suspension for 01 vic, but still real low...?
Hey everyone, ok right now i have my ride on bags and im really getting tired of them, ive just had them for so long that Im kind of tired with messing witht he switches ect ect. So now im thinking i will replace it with a coilover system but im trying to still get a real low stance. Anyone know any system that still rides smooth and can stay at this height..or at least ride decent? I've seen the tein ss system but its really expensive and I wasnt too sure as to how low it will go on our vics. Thanks everyone,.

Tien Super Street, or it has 16 levels of dampening. But I wouldnt recommend trying to put as low as you can, figure out the wheel size you will be riding on, then lower it to a comfort level. Mine is at 2.5 inches and rides fairly smooth, its my daily driver too. Jersey has some fcuked up roads and its not really harsh.

damping has no effect on how stiff the ride is.
There is nothing that will ride low and soft, its not a possible combination, it needs to be stiffened to account for the lack of travel.

Im settled at just under 2 inches and I think ive got a comfortable ride. Neuspeed Sport Springs and Tokico Blue's

if you want more comfort, go with thicker tires and smaller rims...the more 'low profile' the tire, the more uncomfortable the ride is going to be, thats from my experiences at least.

$1100 shipped. and thats with everything, there all independant so its not just front and back. Also it comes with the center console I made for it(will get pics) and the dual needle gauge. Will come with the front struts already mounted to the air bags, 2(YES 2) extra back air bags just incase they ever blow. I've had this system for over a year and its practicly impossible to blow the bags, but just incase they ever did you have 2 extras, which btw cost like $100 a piece usually. Also it will come with 1 extra dual needle gauge. I'll get all of the details for you tommorow if you really are interested. Oh yeh I forgot 1 more thing that I did that the system usually doesnt have. Ok on the back when you take of your old suspension there will be 3 holes for where they used to be bolted down, but in most air suspension systems the back cup just sits on that spot in the back. So I took it into the shop and they welted on some bolts so its just like installing regular shocks.
Just let me know if you want pics and more details.

BTW the air bag kit actually rides better than my old hayames, its actually a decent ride. Man I sure did hate those hayames, lol.

the KYB AGXs and Tokicos are both bolt-on with the install of spring or coilover too, only the Koni Yellow is the only one i know by far that is a strut insert. might as well get a TEIN SS if i you want to spend that such money, and itll be really comfy from what i hear.
it all depends in the ride you want, i say TEIN, i love their product and everyone i know that has them; no complaints. EDFC compatible on certain apps. and the BGs have helper springs and great from other users. IMO...i'd say TEIN flex with EDFC. you wont be unsatisfied!
r these better than the teins?
