tein clunking fix?

i know the option would have been to get 01 mounts or the pillowball mounts but meh...i was thinking about just greasing up the whole thing?

makes more noise in rain/cold than warm weather..

anyone have solutions?

i have 01 mounts on my tein ss and it was clunking for a while. the problem was the top mount bearing wasn't spinning when the car was turning so the springs were jumping and making noise. i greased up the bearings and the noise went away for a while, then came back in small intervals but then went away completely. try it out, should do the trick

btw do u not have 01 mounts??

with the 01 mounts you have to index the top mounts right...if you dont put it together right it'll clunk no matter what you do...its the same with lowering springs and whatnot on oem or aftermarket shocks

oh ya the way i did it was i took the strut assembly apart to grease it. You have to remember, your life is riding on your suspension, so do it right no matter what.

Exactly.
Springs do not make noise.
Improper strut assebly does.
Stick at top of the forum will tell you how to get rid of the noice property, should I say not to have it it in the first place.
