Tein S Tech Too Low?
Tein S Tech Too Low?
Hey guys,
I purchased a used 2000 Civic Si (EM1) that came with Koni STR.T (Orange) struts and Tein S-Tech springs. According to the manufacturer site, the springs are supposed to lower my car by 1.9" (F) and 1.7" (R). Currently, I can barely fit one finger between the front tire and fender.
Is this normal? I feel like that's too low for a 1.9" drop.

Re: Tein S Tech Too Low?
Yes what are the wheel specs?
Springs could have been cut for more drop. The 6th gen may not have that large of a wheel gap to begin with so it may not take much of a drop.

Re: Tein S Tech Too Low?
I'm out of town at the moment, but I'll get some pics when I'm back.
My car has 17" Enkei rims right now w/ Tein S-Tech springs and Koni orange struts. Does anyone know the stock wheel gap?
