Help with my drop
Help with my drop
well guys, i installed the tein springs, drop 1.3
and this is my problem

the drop in rear is like 3 inch, i know the teins springs its only for coupe, but i dont think that the difference was so big
cause my car with stock suspensions always has been more lowered in the rear

i'll try to renew the hardware in the shock like this parts
number 12 and 9,

but in honda automotive parts, this numbers has 2 part number, any knows if this different numbers is because one is for sedan an the other is for coupe?, and which is the difference? because if in the coupe is higher than in sedan, i could try to buy the coupe hardware to reduce the drop.
or any suggest about some part that my car could be damage, that cause this drop?
thanks for the help.
i hope that u understand my problem, cause my english is not so well

They will sag in the rear and I don't think there is is anything you can do to fix it.
Problems that may arise from your drop is blowing your stock shocks and eating up tires if you have camber/toe issues.
Get some different springs or adjustable ones like Ground Controls.

Do you have something heavy in the trunk?? Subs & box, workout equipment, bodies???LOL If so probably the best thing you could do is get something that is adjustable (full coilovers or sleves & new shocks/struts). If not try the neuspeed springs that are made for the sedan.

since the part number for the top mount are diferent between the sedan and coupe, could that be the problem, couuld they differ in such a way to attribute the car being so low behind, and I know his car, could the springs sag when theyre brand new??
the springs are the problem 100%. that is what holds the car at the ride height nothing else. i had some progress springs that did the same thing. the sag wasnt quite soo apparent but none the less it did sag. you need sedan springs. i have the eibach prokits they dont list a seperate part number for sedan/coupe but they havent sagged yet and its been close to 6 mos since install. cutting your bump stop is only going to give more suspension travel before bottoming out. i would replce the springs and if you have stock shocks i would replace them too or youll probably be in the same position in a year or so. with blwon stock shocks your relying on the spring rate for comfort. that means every compression your running the risk of compressing the spring. i have no doubt in my head that its your coils and if your still on stock shocks them too.
