Rep Power: 0 shock problem! please help
Ive been running stock struts with ground control coilovers for a couple years.
I just bought tokiko blue struts to replace the stock struts and the red threaded piece of the ground control coilover will not fit over the strut. there is a silver cap on the strut thats keeping it from sliding over it.
I guess my question is can i knock that silver piece off? I dont think I ordered the wrong ones. Please help! The back struts will work, its just the front ones.
Thanks

Rep Power: 399 There's absolutely no need to bump something in 45 minutes.
Second, no you can't knock things off the strut housing, its what holds the guts in. I'm pretty sure you just can't use GC sleeves with Tokicos. some people have succeeded in getting skunk2 sleeves over them I believe.
