Suspension Help

OK. I have 18" wheels right now with 215/35/18 Nitto NeoGens all around. I want to lower my car like 2 inches or so. I really am not sure how low it should go. I want to do this right, with Springs + Cambers, and whatever else I would need.

So... What kind of springs/cambers should I get? How low will that make my car?

Is there anything besides springs/cambers that I need for my car to lower it, without making my suspension shitty?

If you want to lower your car 2 inches i would suggest full coilovers and an SPC camber kit. Your stock struts will not hold up to a 2 inch drop no matter what springs you buy, and blown struts = shitty ride. Do some research and find a good set of full coilovers. i bought my spc camber kit for $100 and it works great!, but the coilovers may run you $1,000+ for a quality set of 4.

What is the difference in a spring and a coilover? So I would have to get Cambers + Springs/Coilovers + Struts?

FULL Coilovers are a strut setup that has the strut and spring put together, if you only purchased springs you would just be replacing your stock springs and putting the lowering springs on the stock struts (bad idea). either way you will need a camber kit for the front and rear.

Springs and struts are better than coilovers. Unless you want to change your ride height all the time, I would go with springs and struts. Get some Tokico Blues with neuspeed race springs. I think you would like that.

please read the FAQ in my signature, and search the suspension forum. I suggest not buying anying until you realize what it will do to your car. Again, I STRONGLY suggest you do not make any rash purchases because you will regret it. Do your research and don't listen to most of the "opinions." Listen to individuals who have experience and seemingly can answer real factual questions for you.

the Tokico blues are only meant to be lowered 1.5 inches other wise it will effect ride quality/blow them.
