ummm you don't raise a civic. Get a truck. You probably can't raise it much because of travel constraints on the suspension and drivetrain.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

what ever his reason for wanting to raise the car up, theres no need to attack him for it.
But as Boilermaker brought up, your going to run out of suspension travle much quicker by raising the car vs lowering, simply because the car is allready designed to have more compression travel then rebound travel. Meaning the shocks stroke range is Much higher in the strut... and raising the car would make it much more likely to "top out" the strut when the cars suspension extends.

Thx
Thanx to all those who replied, for those who asked its for two reasons. One is that it floods where I live and I thought an increase in height might save some water damage. Two is that its different, like th one boi said "never heard that before".
well if its just for occasional floods go for air suspension, but i heard the lines can freeze up in winter.
sometimes, different and "never heard that before" is not a good thing at all. if you permanently jacked up the car that would be one of those times

I see nothing good coming out of this.
Simply put, if you need clearance, buy something that has clearance. You can't jack a Civic.
