B+G's: WHY DO THEY FEEL THIS WAY EVERYTIME?

i have b+g s3's and noticed that everytime the car is jacked up and then lowered, the suspension feels really tight and stiff again. after driving for a day or so, the suspension becomes softer. any know why this happens? i like the way the car rides right after it is lowered off the jacks. reminds me of when i first installed the b+g's.

no, im glad that they feel the way they do. what im asking is why do the coilovers seem stiffer after sitting on a car lift? it seems that when the shock expands because the car is lifted and the wheels are of the ground, when the car is set down, the suspension stiffens up.

then when i drive the car for a while, they undampen, i guess, and go back to a softer ride.

thats the s3 self adjusting dampening system. i wish mine would stay stiff sometimes. after 30k, they are nice and soft - which is great over bumps.

Yes, it is because it is self adjusting.
