Lowering my Civic
Lowering my Civic
I just put Motegi FF7 18x7.5 w/ 215/35/18 Nankang tires on my '01 Civic and am wondering if these will cause me rubbing problems if I try to lower my car? I already had to remove the plastic guard over the fuel lines (recovered them with plastic wrapping) to prevent rubbing, so I'm unsure about lowering it. Anyone done this with the same size wheels/tires? If so, gimme some feedback.

yeah, and this is the first I heard about that gas cover. I would try to reinstall it, or at least shave the part that was grinding, so you have some protection. It sounds like its their for protection, so I would leave it.
Speaking of, I need to install the boot on my shift fork, lol. Watch my tranny bust on me on the way home. That would suck.
