Exclamation suspension help!

alright, here is the deal. i bought goldline springs from someone off the site (PHILLYCIVICROB to be exact) and i went to put them in today. i dropped my car off at a shop this morning at 7:30am, yea...i said 7:30...and i went back around 3. he was on the last wheel, and there was a problem. of course, there is always a problem. the guy said that the bolt was stuck inside the bottom part of the shock, so he couldnt take it off. he put WD-40 and it still didnt work. after plenty of aggrivation, i just told him to do his best and i left it there overnite. the said that he could break it off but i would need to get a new shock, which i dont wana do. is there any special thing u gota do to take the back shocks off? if anyone has any ideas, it would be great.

yes, when you first start to remove the bolt ( loosen it ) it will come out about 1/3 of the way then will just keep spinning, then you need to hit it to get it to move out a bit more untill the threads are noticeable, then screw it out.

yeah..
backs are easy u really dont even need to take tires off.lol

u shoulda done swap urself so ud know how to put bac to oem later and save $$

back consists of.

take off 2 top nuts, and loosen the middle nut(shouldnt need allen wrench)

bottom.. use rachet and loosen like a ****.. takes alot of torque at first..

then when its done use screwdriver and hit w/ sledge and pop the bolts out..

i did a fellow memebers spring **** in like 2 hours..

w/o taking tires off etc

worst case scenario

A: drive around 75,
B:take bat and have it depress pedal..

C: jump out of car
D: TUCK AND ROLL

then let it hit something.. 90+mph=better

walk to car.. should see rear susp lying somewhere.. check 100ft radius if not right near car

riley
