I've solved my suspension problems!!!!!!

I have Hayame V2 and hated the ride. It was rough, and it sucked. I hadn't ridden in any other civics that were lowered, so I could compare the ride. Well, to make a long story short, I had 205-40-17 tires, and today I bought some Yokohama Parada spec 2, 205-45-17 tires and let me tell you, the RIDE IS AWESOME! I still have the somewhat low profile look, but the ride is awesome, and all along I thought it was my suspension, no friggin way!
Anyways, 205-40-17 tires should be outlawed, there rubberbands for christ sake! If you want a good look, and a great ride, go with some high quality tires, 205-45-17's!!!
BTW,
no rubbing issues either. God, it's like having a whole new car!

Buying 16's? I think thats a waste of money, too much rubber and not enough wheel. Just my opinion.

quick question to those who have 215/45/17 and have drops around 1-2 inch. Do u guys rub in any sort of way such as turning, on bumps, or any other things that might make you rub. i have a drop of 1.75 front 1.5 rear and im worried that if i put that tire on it would rub

My first set of tires were
215/45/17 w/1.75(springs only) drop ALL = no rubbing (pothole fudged)
back to stock
205/40/17 w/stock height = (with too much space, hated the rims tho were free tho)
back to stock
205/35/18 w/stock height (no rub, ok ride just gonna wait and get tru coilovers)

i have some 205/55/16 azenis, and theyre not soft at all, i was more confortable with my 17's, it all depends on the stiffness of the tire.....

205 40 17 are not made for our cars .. thats what numerous shops told me ,,

205 45 17 or 215 40 17 are best options.. theres always 215 45 17 that could fit.

Ill get pics soon, the 215-45-17's were too much sidewall in my opinion. The 205-45-17's are as close to stock overall dimensions 185-65-15's, and yes Tamazoid, I have used the tire calculator before.....
