which suspension is best - PLEASE RESPOND
Well I'm really pissed because last July I wasted money on Hayame V2 coilovers, and there JUNK, as many of you know. So now Im looking into another full coilover set-up, and what is everyone's suggestion? I want to do it right this time, Im sick of wasting money.
I have a 2001 coupe, will there be any issues with any of the brands, i.e. cutting dust covers with teins, etc.?
Please help me out. BTW, im only looking for about 1.5-1.75 drop too, like two finger gap all the way around, that's what I got now.
I don't want to have to go thru these headaches again, please help me.

So what is the diff. between Tein SS and Tein Flex, it says that Tein Flex includes pillowbal upper mount, what the hell is that, and if the SS doesn't come with it, then what? Im confused....and how come no info for B&G? I heard those were rebutable....

Basically im looking for a full coilover set up, that doesn't ride like sh#t, doesn't jerk the steering wheel over bumps, will lower the car at least 1.5-1.75", and can handle NH roads, and if I happen to run over a piece of hair that fell out of some chicks hair and landed on the pavement, I don't want to feel that while driving

your tires play a big part in whether or not you feel the road. your suspension isn't the only one to blame for that. stick with a bigger sidewall if you don't want to feel the road too much.
If you don't like the advantage of having a full coilover setup and larger sized wheels, maybe you should stick with the stock suspension.
By advantages I mean being able to feel everything on the road.
Full coilover is typically made for racing purposes but from your complaints it seems like you want a luxury car type of ride, which full coilovers won't give you.
May I suggest some Tokico HPs with Neuspeed Sport springs?
Rides a bit firmer than stock but probably not as hard as what a full coilover is supposed to give you.

how much are you looking to spend? Can you do installs yourself? You will need a camber kit also no matter what you do, front and rear, which is about 150 so factor that into your costs. i hear tein springs work well for a mild drop.
i used to have some cheap-o coilovers and my ride was horrible. it was a huge headache and i was wasting so much money on tires all the time because my camber was all ****ed. so i got eibach springs put in. havent had any problems yet and it rides great. i think it was about an inch and a half drop. just another option if you dont find anything.

i got the tein ss-p's, basically tein ss's that come with the pillowball upper mounts.. i like 'em a lot.. cost me 1245 shipped to upstate NY
i got the B&Gs i love them there so smooth on the road and the freeway i think im going to have theses coilovers for some time to come.... they would be perfect for 1.50-1.75 drop

So the tein ss's don't come with the pillowball upper mounts? What exactly are those?
I allready have camber kits front and rear, and I can do the install myself.
what about my other question allready posted:

There is no "best" suspension.
I have tein ss and i simply love them. I have about a 2 finger gap all the way around and they ride beautiful. I didn't have to cut the dust boot. I've had them on for about 1 yr and they are not starting to squeak a little, so i will just have to spray them down with wd-40.

Flex real stiff
Tein Flexes are much stiffer than SS, that's the main difference. A freind put Flexes on his RSX Type S. He loves them for autocross racing but his girlfreind now hates to ride in his car, even with dampers set at softest setting because its the stiffer springs that you feel, especially with low profile tires. Hope this helps.
