Install Tein Flex. Having problems

I installed my tein flex coilovers last night and it dropped the hell out of my car; more than i really wanted to. Anyway, the camber and toe are way off. It's so bad that i can't even drive to the alignment shop. I have the camber kits installed but it is the toe that is off. Both tires are facing inwards (towards the engine). While viewing the car from the back, you can see about two inches of the back of the front tires as they face inwards.

What should i do?

Do you mean to uninstall the coilovers and re install the stock ones. I must be confused.

Deception2k1civic said, "i do alingments all the time. to adjust rear toe you must turn an ecentric bolt on the lower control arm. first loosen the 17mm bolt. then turn the ecentric bolt with a 24mm to your desired spec. the front you just turn the tie rods. loosen then locking bolt with 24mm and turn the tie rod with a 19mm. you also can adjust front camber a little bit with the stock bolts. rear camber on the other hand you need a kit for it."

You have camber plates in the front, use them. Set the camber more positive and drive. I drove with bad negative camber and bad toe to get mine aligned. Just drive really slow. It will feel really bad, but drive slow and take your time.

Well... you could just shorten the tie rods enough to pull the wheels more straight, then drive it to the alignment shop then let them fix it. Or push the camber plates positive, drive it then spec out what camber and toe angles you want.

hey man i had same problem., ur pillowball mounts in front come set at HELLA negative camber in the front.. i had same problem first time... jack the car up.... look at the top... and set the little line to the 0 in rthe middle.

that will set camber at a minimal and toe pretty straight.

right now i still have a little toe... 3/16 in ima get it adjusted monday...

im 2 little lines inward from the 0 and im looking at aboit 7 degrees negative camber which i like... thats just me.. the 0 should put it close to zero.

riley

im me if any more problems

rijowysock =aim

pics below...

i actually in the front removed 2 of the 3 perches today (locking the one that holds spring directly to the bottom mount... eliminating 2 because b4 i had all 3 together anyway...

anywho...this is max max max max drop.. lol.. show some pics once u get urs all done..

You can't have negative 7 degrees camber. You would it the shock/spring with that much camber. It is impossible. The max you could get is probably 4 or 5. 3 is even pushing it.

why not just undo the lock nut on the tie-rod ends and spin them shorter? then get your alignment done and have them fine tune it. It seems like the most practical thing to do.
