Boiler's New Suspension - Question
Boiler's New Suspension - Question
Hey - your koni/gc install is very helpful for those of us who are planning to do konis soon. Question about the rear shocks: did they come from koni with the ring installed in the upper groove? I thought I've seen pics before with the ring installed stock in the lower groove. I'm planning a slight spring seat/position adjustment and it would only work if the stock position is the upper groove. Thanks -

The ring was installed when I got them. Since I had to specify the exact model year of the car, I assume there are several variations of the same kit with the ring installed in different places by year..... this is Koni's explaination... that the height of the seat has changed by year. I'm not sure how to move it to another ring, I would think you need a C-ring tool to do it.
Maybe someone else has an official explaination of why they come shipped with the ring in a specific spot. Honestly, I thought they would come and I'd have to install the ring myself.
