How far away from specs...

...do you need to be so you know that you need a camber kit?

I looked in FAQ and couldnt find anything there.

Have you had the car aligned yet?? If so, get us the numbers. If you have lowered the car at all, I would invest in the kit. It will insure you don't chew thru the tires rapidly.

I did. The place said the back tire readings dont print (WTF?), but I got the front:


Left Camber: 0.1
Right Camber: -1.3

Left Caster: 2.9
Right Caster: 2.3

Left Toe: -.06
Right Toe: .02

if your left camber is that far off the right, you need to adjust your crash bolts. If the left can be brought back in, then you should also be able to bring the right back. You *NEED* camber kits when your toe can no longer be zeroed because the steering arm runs out of travel. Most people do it well before that to save tires.
