Question Noise from 2005 Honda Civic EX 4dr *HELP*

I just got my girlfriend's Honda back from the stealership, they have just replaced the bearings in the transmission.

I have had one problem after another with them...but that’s a different story.

Within 4 hours actual drive time from picking it up it began to make a clunking noise during accell or decell and sometimes when turning into a parking spot.

I am either thinking they didn’t get the sub frame bolted back or the motor mounts...

The car was making a lot of noise before we had the transmission worked on, maybe we didn’t hear the MMs go out?

Any ideas would be great as I have the car tore apart and am about to go bolt by bolt testing torque specs...

Is there a good way to diagnose a fatigued motor mount that I am unaware of?

Sorry for spelling, grammar, etc. Thanks in advance for you guys helps!

I got it, twas the rear passenger side control arm bushing and subframe bolts....

What a fuc^&$% douche at the dealership....

My only advise is to NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO A DEALERSHIP EVER...really for any reason.

Figured that out a long time ago..dealers suck when it comes to repairs, too much of a headache. Anyone in the future I think the best way to check the mounts is just by a visual inspection. If they are cracked and worn, and hopefully not loose.

My S is still under factory warranty so it has to go to dealership. There is one dealership that I trust in my area. I had to take it in to have a sensor related to VSA replaced, and they actually kept the car in the service garage the entire 4 days they had it. I will be taking all of our cars there for factory work.

No way.... i have a Honda dealership not far from where i live, and they are excellant. You want to know all the horror stories of ppl taking their cars to some little nasty shop and getting screwed?.... Dealers usually know what they are doing, they are just more expensive
