Repairing Hayame Coilovers
So I have these set of Hayame's V1 or 2 I think. I think I blown them, drove 48 hrs straight towing a motorcycle in a loaded down car. Along the way, I started bottoming out many times. After the trip I removed all the excess weight and my car was dropped another 2 inches, and no ammount of spring compression would seem to fix my bottoming out problem.
Can I replace the shocks & reuse the springs & coilover stuff?
What shocks can I use, will any performance ones do?

I had my rear shocks off yesterday, cleaned them up, and raised the height, backed off the preload & they seem to be working better so far, I will wait a week of driving before I say that they are all better & get an alignment though.

Well that deffinatly fixed the bottoming out issue, but these roads are still just too bumpy for these Hayame's. They were awesome in Texas where there were no foot deep potholes, but not good for Nova Scotia.
I think I will put the stock suspension back on & sell the Hayame's instead.

Why? My struts are the same as they were when I was in Texas, but the roads are way worse here.
But do they sell stronger ones, they might help I wonder?
you can contact spw directly, but last time i called them (last year), they dont sell spare pieces, just the whole coilover system set. but they offered my $450 for the brand new set of v2 when it was new at the time.
