hey guys, i need your help. I have 2001+up EX skunk2 sleeved coilovers. ok, this is a different question. I emailed skunk2, and they said that the EX sleeved coilovers will NOT fit on DX/LX struts. is that true? they told me that the "tools" used in the installation are different i always thought that the DX/LX/EX struts were the same.

they also said that the 01+ sleeved coilovers will not fit on 03+up civics. i was told by some members on here that the 01+ sleeved coilovers WILL fit on 03+up civics. will they fit?

i know that the second question might have been answered a million times, but the first question really is different so ya, right now, im confused any help would be appreciated

on my skunk2 coilover box, it says for "honda civic 01+" and i have an 2003 coupe ex and it fits fine. cant remember the part number but it was 517-05-1710 or something like that. the first digits are correct i believe.

ex/lx/dx/etc share the same struts, but the 2003+ sports the 16mm knuckle bolt (which has nothing to do with installing coilovers since their just adjustable springs). i say call them again and ask them exactly what "tools" are different. the only special tool needed is the spanner wrench which should be in the skunk2 coilover box which is used for adjusting the perch so u can either raise the car or lower it some more.
