skunk2 coilovers bouncy!!
I Had My Skunks For 1 Year Now And Now Its Hella Bouncy What The F@#$@ Is Goin On? I Slammed My Front And Back Man.. On Lil Bumps Its Like Riding On A Back Of A Horse! And Pot Holes It Fells Like My Tires Blew Out What Sould I Do? Do You Guys Think Its My Oem Shocks Cuz I Havent Changed It Ever Since I Lowerd My Car Please Help ........
your oem shocks are more then likely blown. I suggest buying some koni yellows or tokico blues (although im not sure if the tokicos can handle skunk2s slammed. others correct me if im wrong). Both should reduce the bouncy ride. I bet others on this site will say the same
whats your budget? do you plan to slam the car with aftermarket shocks still? what are your expectations?
check out the shock/damper faq, it tells ya what aftermarket shocks/struts are out for our cars and whatnot. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=171892

please stop with the caps lock.
koni's should sell for around $550 for the entire set of 4, downside being that you have to cut your stock front struts in order to slide the koni into it.
tokico's i think will be around $300 for the entire set (don't quote me on this), but will not be able to handle the kind of drop you're on (skunk2 all the way down is in the 3" lowered range?). tokico says the max their shocks can handle is 1.75" drop.

Oh ya... How low you have the car will also adversly effect ride quality... But if you inetend to drop the car as low as you can... Konis would be your best choice for shocks, as they are designed to have the same valving at any ride height within their stroke range. HOWEVER, if you bottom them out (The shock, not the car) then you will destroy them.
Ive got tokico illuminas on my rex and its dropped about 3 inches with 27.5mm torsion bars and it handles the drop and spring rate good. Harsh ride but not bouncey. But i do agree that the konis would be better

MY RIDE HIGHT IN THE REAR I MAX IT OUT AND FRONT ABOUT THE SAME HIGHT I DONT KNOW THE MESUREMENTS BUT I CANT FIT ANY FINGER BETWEEN THE TIRES AND THE FENDER. IF I WOULD SLAM IT ALL THE WAY WHAT KINDA SHOCKS SHOULD I GET?

i would say KYB D-spec, koni yellows or KYB AGX imo.

the Tokico Blue's and the KYB AGX's will not fit with the Skunk 2 coilovers
i emailed Skunk 2 with this question (and i believe that a member on here told me too). The person working at Skunk 2 told me that the only option is the Koni's
