i have some skunk2 sleeved coilovers, and i read on one of the threads that they do not fit with the tokico struts. so, what are my other options (besides getting full coilovers or new springs)?

wheres the thread? the skunk2 coilovers should be able to be combined with any aftermarket shock that i know of. if no, then this can be an pretty big issue and should be posted on the shock/damper faq page. which tokico shocks are you referring to?
is their any true facts that the skunk2 coilovers are not compatible with the tokicos shocks?

i just talked to a buddy of mine who has an civic sedan and skunk2 coilovers. he had fitment problems with his kyb (agx?), not sure which one but whichever is below the $300 range. he had problems fitting his kyb shocks on the skunk2 coilovers on his sedan. so im guessing skunk2 coilovers arent compatable with few aftermarket shocks.

from what i know, skunk2 coilovers and KYB & Tokick blues will not fit directly on our 7thgen civics

sold his skunk2's cause they didnt fit with his shocks and one of the springs was cracked. so i dont know what he did with the shocks... im guessing got another set of springs.

I had skunk2 coilovers and tokico blues, and can confirm that they are not compatible, I got rid of the skunk2 and ordered ground control.

also, whats the difference between the 01+ LX skunk2 coilovers and the 01+ EX skunk2 coilovers? i got the EX ones. is there a chance that those might work with other struts?

i never heard of any differences between lx and ex skunk2s. but im guessing its nothing important? i doubt any skunk2 coilover will work with aftermarket struts unless its a dramatic change from the lx ones and ex.
