Best way to enlarge the hole is just to drill it man. I'm not sure what size bit you need. That's all that there is to do. I had to get my B&G's drilled to fit the front onto an 03.

edit-i forgot to ask, can you post up pics of them?

i need to enlarge them to 16mm, but there are no metric drill bits. the closest thing to 16mm is 5/8ths and then i could shave a little more off using my dremel but im hesitant that if i dont get them perfect that either the alignment will be off permanently or the bolts just wont fit.

whod you have enlarge the holes for you?

My friend and I installed it. He was the one that enlarged it though cuz he's the a.s.e. certified mechanic, not me. That's pretty much what he did though. Just kept shaving off little by little. We didn't have a drill bit that big either. You're gonna love those struts man. I had them on my 95 Accord with H&R Springs and they worked really well together. The only thing that ever gave out was my tires that's it. If anything was to happen with my B&G's I'd get those AGX's in a heart beat.

I would take it to a mechanic who has a specific bit to drill out holes. They can use a drill press similar to those they use in wood. PM slowvic. I don't suggest doing it yourself. It should cost that much.

maybe use a tapered reamer...?

Tool reams as well as deburrs, aligns and enlarges holes 7/16 to 1 inch in diameter. Taper angle is 2.2054°. Accurately ground tempered steel tool with 3-5/8 inch blade and T-handle applies steady, even pressure. Always turn clockwise and use cutting oil for best results.

ok well i got the pass side in. used a 5/8th in drill bit and then reamed the hole a little to get from .625 to .630in (5/8in - 16mm). the holes came out pretty good.

I took my Tokicos to a machine shop and they enlarged the holes with a bushing & hone drill, which is used in aviation for landing gears. I wish I would have taken my camera that day to show you guys how they did it. Basically what he did, since they don't work with metric tools either, was to convert the desired size(16 mm) to standard with a digital caliper, and got about 0.6299". The drill bit the guy used was adjustable and really long. He was able to get it exactly at 0.6299". The new holes came out great, aligned & all measuring 0.6299".

What springs have you matched them with ? How do they handle(firm???) and how many settings are there on them ? What's the lowest recommended drop we can go with these ? I was considering the illuminas, D-Specs and AGX. Have been on konis for awhile, but would like to try something different preferably one with full replacements like the above mentioned.

right now i have Spoon Sports Progressive Springs, adn the AGX's are 4 way adjustable. the ride is very smooth on the 1 setting (soft). the car is on rails when i put it on the 4 setting. i also have a ITR rear antisway along with Rota C-8's 16" 205/50/16
