suspension question...

i had some neuspeed sport springs installed in my car 3 months ago. they are using the stock shocks. the car handles and drives fine but sometimes i notice a tiny little bit of creaking coming from the front of my car. i don't know if this noise had been there all along and i just didn't hear it because i usually play my music loud so i don't hear anything but music. the creaking happens sometimes when i'm driving slow and i turn my steering to the right or left and hit my brakes or when i'm going over uneven terrain. is this normal? i did the bounce check to check if my shocks were blown and it came up negative so now i'm not sure if it's just the colder weather(i live in toronto, ontario) or there's something wrong with my suspension or maybe it's just a normal occurance. please help.

im not sure but did you index the struts?
or could be your springs just rubbing and making that noise? <--- but that usually goes for coilovers.
who installed your springs? got them balanced/mounted/etc?

the springs were professionally installed with an Ingalls camber kit all around and alignment was done right after the car was lowered.

Same problem with mine, but my set-up is Eibach pro kits with koni yellows. someone mentioned to me to put wire wraps on the springs to elimanate rubbing. Is this right??

wire wraps? i don't even know what that is.

as for the creaking on my car, it doesn't happen too often so i just decided to leave it alone. i'll probably have the mechanic look at my suspension and make sure everything is working correctly when i take my car in for it's scheduled service.

Spray the new suspension with WD-40. Sometimes new parts just need to be oiled.
This was the case for me, and WD-40 made all the little noises stop.

i found out exactly what the noise was.

the mechanic checked out my suspension and everything was FINE. (relief! ) nothing was blown and there was nothing wrong with my springs, control arms or anything else. the bushings on the lower control arm is causing the noise. the mechanic said "when i lowered my car the change in ride height altered the angle of the lower control arm bushings slightly making them squeak a little. he said this could be fixed by poking holes in the bushing with a pin and injecting some lubricant but he didn't recommend it. he told me to just leave it alone. hope this was helpful to any others with this problem.

Just had mine checked part of the Creak sound is comming from the power steering booth but by car has 10K miles year 03 only, I'm also very carefull on pot holes. I'll try putting some Silicone Lube tonight see what happens. O is Silicone better than WD40??
