Driving long distances while dropped?

Can any of you guys and gals see any problem with me dropping on goldlines while i have to drive out of state a lot?

They give a 1.5" drop rear and 1.75" front. I have 215/45/17 tires.

Any rubbing issues, exstensive wear i could face.

Thanks...

yeah, you will ruin your stock shocks

Rubbing issues and uneven wear would be determined by camber. You will have extensive wear on your tires because of the long drives, not the lowering.

Thanks robb... I am also going to get some tokico blues soon. Would this help the situation? I will probably get a camber kit also.

I've driven from Virginia Beach, to Rockville, MD which is ~225 miles 3 different times in about the last month or so. Then I've driven all over MD to Baltimore to Hagerstown and whatnot. The Goldlines ride perfect, except for the blown shocks.

Plus I've driven out of town out west quite a bit with my car. Goldlines ride fine. 215/45 will be perfectly find. Don't sweat it.

Well my 7thgen has been lowered atleast 1.5" or more for atleast 1.5 years. No crazy tire wear because camber is properly accounted for with camber adjustment kits. Remember your ride is always more stiff/bouncy when your lowered lots. The car has been to NYC, Philly, Atlantic City, Toronto.......All from 1-8.5 hour drives away. No probs here.

FYI: The car is lowered on KW Suspsensions V2 Full Inox SS Coilovers

2100 miles from my home to parents. Drive it once a year, and my car has been lowered the whole time.

Get a camber kit, have your alignment checked. Plus while it is on the rack, you can check the other things like ball joints, tire wear, etc.

If your car checks out (i.e. aligned with a kit), then the wear should be normal. I still have the stock shocks and the ride is not that bad unless they are repairing the highway. This year will be on Tokico D-Specs, so I will enjoy that.

Plus I am adding Sirius radio, cause the stations suck and maybe upgrading my amp.
