KYB AGX or KONI Yellows?

hi all, can you pls advice which set of shocks/struts is better? KYB AGX or Koni Yellows?

rate them in terms of durability, reliability, cost, and quality.

I was quite disappointed with my set of koni yellows. Currently on my 2nd set of rear shocks, the first ones - right squeaks, left bad damping sound. people told me Koni's quality has gone down over years, used to be better. thus thinking of switching to KYB AGXs on my eibach prokit next round.

Please advise n thank u

Hrmm not sure. I've been on Koni's for awhile now and no problems. However I do recall that the earlier Koni struts for our cars had some issues like the fronts would leak. Then in the rear the bushing would walk around. Supposedly Koni has corrected both these issues earlier this year.

Are the AGX even out yet?

Have you consider Tokikos? I know they aren't adjustable like the Konis but they work great.

def01tones will become famous soon enough
i have the new gr-2's but i am sending them back because i didnt know they are OE replacements. so if u have drop springs dont get the gr-2's or u'll have a better chance of bottoming them out. i was on the waiting list for those struts for 5 months just to send them back. i decided to go with tokico blues. i heard good things about them

tokico

also does Tokico go well with eibach springs? hope they arent like the normal stock shocks with rides terrible with aftermarket performance springs and worst it's unsafe.

please comment

if youre doing any type of racing, go with the ADJUSTABLE Konis. The tokicos are softer and arent adjustable. If you have an 03+ Civic, you will need to drill the front struts. No, they are not inserts.
