More Hayame Help. AHHH!!
still hate my hayames.. if ur thinkin about getin it... then UR STUPID.. there not worth it.. well heres my other problem now
when im driving in mah neighborhood.. mah car is BOUNCY LIKE NO OTHER!
u feel every bump.. ur *** is bouncing off the seat cus ur bouncing.. but its a stiff type of bounce.. not a springy... but when u going above 70.. then the bounces go away
mah springs are set to where theres 0 preload in the front and .25 inches in the rear.. the rears wont go up ne more.. ive tried mah hardest and seems as if it stops and doesnt wana twist ne heigher..
could it be blown shocks?
im about to raise the rear preload to .25 and see how that goes
and controling problems like others do... this car feels like i cant control it ne more... i was turning on HW59.. theres a big turn before the chiminy rick exit.. and i couldnt control the car worth ****.. i had to slow to 50 mph and have both hands on the wheel.. im thinkin of seriously going back to stock..

Yet another unhappy customer with hayames. Hey bro, I say look into some different coilovers, see if you can return those, it seems that every single person hates them now.

Mine are working out to right now. It took for friggen ever and a lot of calls, but i finally got it working. I'm satisified with mine and the height i'm at. I have a nice slammed look and the rears are fairly low, low enough to the point where my camber is perfect with 0 tire wear and yet no fender rub. I dont have any ricer bounce either, it's a nice stiff controlable ride. The only issue i have i guess is the steering is kinda torque or something, if i hit a bump the wheel will bounce left or right really fast, but besides that oversteer i dont have any other issues.
I hope they last a while,
Eric

I was one of the first in the country to get these, and my v1's have been good to me... i haven't experienced ANY of the problems you later people have. hope some adjusting will take care of it

well i preloaded the fronts to .75 inches.. and the rear to .25 inches.. rides ALOT better.. still have problems with controling the car... so that sucks...
Controlling the car in what type of situation?
And I hear ya dragoon... sometimes I think the aftermarket is just out there to screw everyone over. While there are a few select vendors who offer good service - that's the area manufacturers fail at providing as well as other crucial areas.

The V1's are what I wanted, but I got the V2's instead. I installed them and thought that maybe they'de be nice, but I noticed a little problem at first the spring isolatros are rubber and they were binding on me. Now they're torn off. They need to be plastic!!!
Anyway, the wiggle effect sucks. That's what's causing you to lose control of the car. It happens to me too. When you're going over a steady stream of small bumps, the wiggle kicks in and the tires wobble causing you to lose traction. It sucks!!!
There's no way to fix it either. The person who said he fixed his by tightening the top nut is nuts IMO. I tried doing that to no end and it doesn't work!!! The wiggle is also causing... Guess what? Shock oil to leak out of the shocks! It sucks. I've only had them for 5,000 miles and they're leaking and I'm bouncing on the highway as if they were blown. My other 30,000 stock OEM shocks after a major accident rode better.
I am switching to OEM and trying to get my money back. I dont' want replacements! Bleh.
