Wheel Alignment
I am gonna buy new tires for my dad's 96 plymouth voyager. The rear suspension is a beam setup with leaf spring. My question is, does thi kind of setup need a wheel alignment? I dont want the mechanic to sell me a 4 wheel alignment if the rear wheels dont even need one. Thanks for any replies.

When they say 4 wheel alignment, its a vague term. It can be aligned, there should be a 4 bar or some other mechanism to align it straight to the road, but beyond that, there's not much you can do to it.

Rep Power: 412 They will still charge you for a 4 wheel alignment even if they can only do 2. They charge you just to get on the rack.
