Suspension Question

I was interested in the hayames coil-over suspension for my 03 Ex. I changed my mind when I read all the posts about the V2 and V3. Would it be better to buy a set of Tien S spings and a set of gas shocks with a camber kit?

So the question is

Tien S 1.5in springs + tokico + camber kit

better than

Coilover suspension?

i am not interested in ajusting toe angle or anything special. I just want an overall lower ride - 1.5in - with comfort.

That is not a bad setup. You can try Tien basics they are pretty decent as well, the main draw back is the cost.

"True" Coilovers have several advantages,
1) they are height adjustable
2) the shock is matched to the spring for a balanced ride.
3) they are a direct swap (ie easy to install)
