Hayame Version 2.0 Installed

well i got my hayames installed... first i had it to where all 4 wheels were tucked... basicly when i did this.. i had alota spring gap.. (when i jack up the car.. i was able to move the springs up and down about 3 inches).. that wasnt a great ride AT ALL.. the ride was wayy too bumpy... bounced everywhere... i juss fixed the front to where the tires are barily above the body and fixed the spring to where its set to where it wont move up and down.. its set in there pretty tight... the offset? i forgot the word... and the rears... i basicly have the bottom part of it to its lowest.. and the spring has about .25 inch to move up and down and its at a good height it isnt boucy either... i have the stock tires on my car.. forgot what number they are... but they arent down sized so the car looks pretty low for hayames...

the rear.. i hear it click a lil but.. gonna try to find out what that is...

the front... when i turn the stearing wheel when i start the car.. it CLICKS really loud.. doesnt sound nice.. but after driving for a min or 2.. it goes away..

over all.. i think Hayames suck big *****.. BUT it is worth the 650 i paid.. u cant get ne better then that with 650 suspension

Personally like EVERYONE said.. save ur money.. about 200 bux more and get better ones.. ones that go lower.. one that feel nicer...

im happy with my hayames.. expected emm to be a bit better quality but for the money.. they were good.. cant get ne better then 650 for that..

First picture is the Whole car obviously
Second picture is the Front tire
Third picture is the Rear tire
Fourth pic is before the accident.. the accord that kit me blew up my back bumper.. it was in a million pieces.. (fiberglass) the sides were both cracked in hlaf.. and the front i sold to sumone Stock Suspension (you like my ricy wing! ) damn i was stupid..

Guess what kinda phone i have and Win A Prize!!!

I have my Hayame V3.0 installed right now. Just last week I recieved 2 new full front shocks for my car, installed those and everything is working beautifully. I didn't have to do any sort of drilling to make any holes larger, everything was plug and play. Took out my 2 front shocks, replaced them with the 2 new ones, took about 45 minutes max to do so, tightened everything down, took it for a test drive and it's flawless. No pops, no squeeks, no play in the front wheels no nothing. I have a good solid ride, not bouncy, it's lowered to a lil less than a finger gap all the way around. I'm satisfied with the product after many months of work with them. I just hope the quality lasts and that a year from now i'm not having problems. I'll post official pics with my final drop sometime next week.

V 3.0? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with Hayame's coilovers... if they redesigned the fronts only, doesn't that make them version 2.5?

There is no 3rd version out there, it's just my 3rd set sent to me, so i call it v3.0 in my books.

I'm the one who labelled them "version 2.0" only to distinguish the old version of the Hayames and the recent ones - if I knew it were to be this popular, I should've gotten it copywritten and get $0.25 every time someone says it.

Which I think you were right considering the arms has been fully redesigned. But for someone to make up another version and in which there isnt any...

The third revision to the coilovers was just realeased a couple of weeks ago. The height issue in the rear was fixed along with the wiggle issue in the front.

can we send back our rears and get new rear ends if that issue has been resolved?

I have my rears on and as low as i can possibly go without doing any damage by having no preload. I have revision 2 of the rears. I would like revision 3 since there were known issues with them!!

so, yall wouldnt reccomend the Hayames? If yall do, the new redisinged ones have the 16mm bolt holes correct, so they will fit on my 03 ex?

Its come down to either these, or the KYB AGX's if they have the 16mm strut to knuckle bolts...

From what I have heard, I say save up and get some B&G's or some teins, and stay away from the hayames.
