Yup.. another week...another squeaking noise thread. With regard to coil bind.. if the springs dead coils are rubbing.. does this cause a squeaking noise? I've had squeaking noise issues before... Once when I had an ingalls rear camber kit.. when I removed it and replaced it with Spc.. no more noise... then I had noise because of the pre-fix rear koni yellow shock.. remember how the bushing didn't fit right.. well they sent me replacements and now no noise... But now a new squeak has come.. It's a tricky one cuz it doesn't happen constantly.. it comes and goes... you can't hear it when you're cruising.. can't hear it when you push up/down on the car itself (this would usually have cuase the noise to be reproduced with my previous squeaking problems)... So I can't tell a mechanic what or where to look... It usually happens when the car is moving slowly (parking lot, slowing to turn speeds)... when the suspension flexes, it squeaks... Anyways.. I think its coil bind... I was thinking of getting coil spring isolators from es.. rather than doing the cheapy coil wrap method... any thoughts?
