front struts
Went and ordered front and rear struts for my car. They called me today to tell me that for 04 honda used two different types of struts.
For some 04 civics they used the older style and for some they used the rsx style strut. Whats the deal with that. Does anybody know if its dependent upon whether you have dx, lx, ex or si? Or is it dependent on what the factory decided to put on your car?

Um.. Your buying OEM struts? Why?
as far as we know, there are only 2 different struts for the civic. the 2001 and part of 2002 had 50mm Diamiter struts and the 2002+ had 55mm struts.

I'm not buying oem struts. I ordered Koni adjustable struts for both front and rear from North American Motor Sports and they called back to tell me that it could be either of the two strut sizes i mentioned b4. Either 50.5mm or 53.8 mm struts
