Zen Master... The bracket that holds the resivor, if you take it off, there is a small metal tab on the bottom that goes into a small hole in the fender well area. I just grinded that down so that it can be slid forward. I can't get a picture because it's on the bottom. But if you have a grinder, and still can't get it, PM me.

I did, I wanted to keep the resivor up right though. I fyou don't mind it being sideway you can just bend it down I guess, but I don't think the hose will fit, so you'll have to buy new hoses.
not good.........
i head by some number of members that i can easily re-allocate the reservoir without having to cut anything..
all you've to do is to unscrew the nut....and put it on the lower hole..
the problem is, i see no hole...

yeah... niether did I. All I can figure is that they had a different modeal and/or year civic. I really didn't grind that much. If you look at the bottom of bracket, you'll see a tab that goes into a slot in the fender well. That tab is about 1/2 inch, I cut half of that off and that allowed the resivor to fit nicely between the two bars. You could probably get away with only cuting a quarter of it off though.

I am going home from work now, I'll take a picture of my resivor when I get home and post it in about an hour or two.

Oh hey, it's a lil late, but I didn't have to reallocate my reservoir. In fact, I barely even had to bend it. And yes, I've been able to access it no problem since the install.

Alright here are my pics. The first is under the hood over shot, I put it forward. The second is an under picture of the area I cut, its blurry, sorry about that, but it just the bottom of the braket. The line in red is what I cut off. I cut the back of it off, if you cut the front of it off, you can slide the resivor back between the bars and you may not have to move it as far, not sure though. This way kept the resivor upright though and no extra hose is needed. Hope these help.
By the way I used the Neuspeed strut bar in an '03 EX with a manual.

Okay... if look on the blurry piture. The yellow area I circled is the bottom of that braket that held the clutch resivor in place. The braket is held in place by a screw. Now anything that is held by a single point like a screw can rotate around, so what keeps from rotating is a tab on the bottom of the bracket that goes into a hole in the fender well area (that is what I circled in yellow). I simply grinded the tab down to half of it's orginal length so that the whole system could rotate a little bit. When I put the bar on, I simply rotated it forward and put he front bar on (I had my girl friend hold the resivor forward while I hit the bar). The red line on the second picture is the amount I cut off. If you look closely you'll see the bottom of the bracket is beyond the edge of that hole in the fender, that is the area I cut off.
By the way, when you're putting the bar, I found it easier to put the back bars on first then the front one. That was just my car though.

yo just,
i just installed my neuspeed strut bar.....not much of a problem......i jack up the driver side...and managed to push it in without too much force..
now, there's this strange crackling noise now comes afterward......it's like when i want to move the car from idle position.......push the clutch pedal......and when i depress the clutch pedal while pushing the gas pedal, there's this "stretching-crackling" noise coming.....
is it from the spring on the coilover because i jacked it up and probably messed up the allightment?
or is it only from the spring on the clutch pedal? i doubt it though...because when i push and depress the clutch pedal without actually inserting any gear, there's no noise...

I had a sound like that just when I put that bar in. Ended up being my AEM intake, that broke and I was sucking in unfiltered air
If the the resivor is touching the bar, check to see if it is worn at all. But that's just my .02, and I certainly can't tell what up without looking. But the clutch resivor does have to be bent or relocated, assuming tou have a manual.

what do you mean by revisor?
i actually tried to put back the clutch reservoir.....doesn't work.........
i'm stock, so im using stock air box....shouldn't be a prob..
gee, what's with this sound..

actually, i tried to reposition the clutch reservoir again....
i actually didnt bent it...i open it up....hammer the small piece that was inserted into the hole so that it's straight...and tighen it up again so i can move it all around....
clutch master cylinder? how in the heck it could happened by just instaling this bar?

I noticed this morning when I took a look under the hood of my car that the bar was touching one side of the plastic peice that lies along the back of the hood. It the piecs that when you close the hood, you can still see between the hood and the windsheild. That peice continues down and my bar just touches it, but I'm not getting any sounds from it.
I'm stumped.
hm..
i actually traced the whole bar......and nothing touches with the bar......not the plastic...not the reservoir...
my idea, is it possible that the noise comes from the surface of the bar that contacts the strut tower?
let'see...there are all 4 of em that touch the surface of the strut tower.....to think again, it's quite possible that the two surfaces are rubbing each other when we want to move our car.....hence the squeek noises....hows that?

hmmmm... could be... did you torque down the strut tower bolts enough? I think they're suppose to go to 33 ft-lb?.

people, READ DIRECTIONS!!! the neuspeed strut bar, if you bought it new, came with a washer to reposition the stock resivor if you have a 2001 civic. and you dont need a malet!!! just unbolt the shock tower on the drivers side, have a friend spot the holes for you and slide the bar over the studs. then bolt 'n torque. thats it... dont get crazy with malets and all that mess.. just read people.
