skunk2 question!!!
skunk2 question!!!
i just finished installing my skunk2 coilovers on my 2001 civic and i noticed that the springs themselves were really short. it seems that when i go over a speed bump or something that the springs sometimes do not seat properly when the wheel comes back down. i was wondering if this is normal for skunk2s or if im an idiot and did not install them correctly.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
are you talkin about the front ones (the smaller WITH the top metal plate) or the rears ?
when u installed them, was the coilover itself placed facing up straight?
i have an 03 coupe and when my car was on jackstands... after finishin the rears... we decided to drop the car and give it a test drive. but right when it was placed out from the jacks, i heard a loud noise in the rear. frend told me the springs gotta settle in. =\
but i'd say give it more time to settle... if it continues to happen, check out ur suspension. if a shop did it for u, go back to them n tell them whats happening with it
