hey people, hers my problem, i noticed for the first time that my tires are wearing on the inside(mainly the front), and ive had my spring (neuspeed sport)on for almost 2 years, also my front wheels shake like all hell when i turn or hit a bump so i cant take turns hard anymore, so the dealership bullshitted me and now i dont know if i need to spend money on a camber kit or not, i also heard that if your car isnt lowered much that u dont need a kit, what should i do? thanks alot

You dont need a camber kit. But if you want to save your tires from wearing out you should install one. The camber kit wont fix the shaking that I know of.

probably need to get your wheels rebalance, and no u dont need a camber kit, a camber kit isnt even need with a 4" drop

eh the word NEED misleading... yes you dont NEED it but is it ideal to get one is another question.
Why do we use camber kits in the first place....
So that we can get the proper alignment. Bottomline, if your tires wearing out unevenly, somethings wrong. Changes are its the alignment, if you go in to get an alignment and your cambers off, your going to "need" a camber kit.

Your wheels shake when you turn??? hmm.. wonder if badd wheel bearings does this.. i might be a toe problem, when you drive in a straight line, does it lean one way?

i have no clue why my wheels shake, i thought they were loose but after tightening them i saw no change, but a few months ago i got a 30000 mile tune up in which they did an alignment and all that stuff and it went away, but the good ole times only lasted a month or so....when i take a turn at moderate speed my front wheels shake and i feel like my wheels are about to fall off, and sometimes when im driving on a bumpy road i feel the same shake, it just sounds like crap, the guy that rotatated my wheels suggested to look at my spacers?

As VNlilMAN said, NEED is missleading, is it recommenedon lowered vehicles? Depends on if by lowering the car you caused the camber to go out of spec. MOST the time lower 1.5" give or take and it will be NEEDED to maintain specs and tire wear. As for the shake......... most likely cause is tire out of balance. Could possibly have been caused from the un-even tire wear that you have on your tires currently. But the one thing that you said that has me concerned is that you mentioned that the car shakes when you hit a bump or turn? This COULD be the sign of worn suspension or steering parts. My suggestion is get the front end checked by a worthy alignment shop. They should be able to tell you if the car NEEDS a camber kit or not, and if the suspension and steering are in good shape. You mentioned that the tires are visibly worn? if the rears are in better shape rotate them to the front. You should always have the best tires on your front. If they are worn to much replace

hmmmm if your using spacers on your wheels. Well let me put it this way............. TAKE THEM OFF! if the wheels dont fit properly with out spacers then you shouldnt be using them at all. Spacers on front wheels specially can cause steering, suspension and premature wheel bearing failure. Not to mention the safety factor of the wheel not being possibly flush and centered on the hub. I strongly discourage anyone to use spacers on wheels. Its VERY possible that the spacers are causing all your shakes.

i doubt its balancing cause ya he said it shakes when he turns..

What the hell are you talking about, of course you will need a camber kit with a 4'' drop, unless you want extreme tire wear and your tires will sit really slanted.

my bad on misleading yall on the spacers, that was the only probability the tech gave me, i dont have spacers, i have 17x7.5 niche shoks

wtf are u talkin bout, u still wont need it, car will still run w/o a camber kit, your tires just wont last as long

YES, you can install it your self, but PLEASE take the car to an alignment shop to have it aligned ASAP after the install. If you are unsure of how to install in properly to set the initial camber i suggest leting an alignment shop do the install just to avoid any safety concerns while driving from your location to the alignemnet shop.

acutually the only reason i have a rear camber kit is to have lots of negative camber, im so low that ever timei hit a bump i wouild rub my tire on the inner lip on the rear fender, i'll get that fixed soon and have a better camber

Dropped on Ground Controls and INstalled camber kit and still no alignment.....waht am i waiting on? dunno just don't seem to need one. but me and you have already discussed the alignment thing in other threads but yea just thought i would throw that out there

Nod we've been round-n-round on this subject b4 . I too agree its a GREAT DIY, BUT if the person installing it has no clue what they are doing and sets one side to pos2 degrees and the other to negative 2 degrees? Or what IF they set it so the toe was so far off that when they hit a slick road the rear end slid out from behind them they lost control and hit another car and killed someones family? Not that either of these two things would likely ever happen but it is possible. I guess the point im trying to make is if your not sure of what your doing leave it to someone who does.
