Stock...seriously unless you get some aftermarket shocks any lowering springs you get are going to kill you shocks.

As far as not killing your springs, just about any of the major brand springs are gonna do you fine, you are gonna have to be pretty rough to kill some springs.

Eibachs are pretty easy on stock struts, had mine for 3 years now and the struts (while weaker) havent blown yet. and I autocross too so I havent been easy on them either.

I just put pro-kits into a friends car. It drops noticably but not a whole lot. He even asked the dealer if the shocks would hold and they were pretty sure it wouldn't reduce the shock life much. What that means exactly, I don't know... but they only lower about 1".

It came out looking pretty good to me... but then again, I don't like super slammed.

Let's see. I have Neuspeed Sports and haven't had any problems in the two years I've had them. No coil bind or anything.

i've heard a few peeps swear by h&r's. then, you get zzyzx and boilermaker, two very knowleadgeble guys, recommend eibach, so....the smaller the drop, the easier on your struts, the longer they should last (theoretically). but then again, you hear people drive dropped on neuspeeds for two years, and guys with 1" drop blow their struts within 2 weeks... i would personally go with either eibachs or h&r's.
