Question SPC camber kit

I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has the SPC camber kit... just wanted some input on them. I went and got a quote for the kit and its $195+Tax for front and rear camber correction plus $122+tax labor. what do you guys think?

Here is the site if anyone wanna check them out.

GAWD DAM! thanks for the cheaper prices guys! i think ima just order from vtec1ps's link.

now about the labor... i checked out the DIYs but i hardly have the confidence nor the tools to do them. the shop i went to charges $68/hr shoptime. all in all the front and rear install takes 1.8 hours which comes to the $122 price... i was just thinking of having the shop install the rear ones first since the rear camber needs immediate correction (est time: 1hr) and the fact that the funds are kinda low right now hahahaha.

question: how important is the front camber correction on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 being very important, 1 being "it can be put off without worry"

not to be a total *** but you know there is a search function. We have covered this a million times. Please learn to use the search function before you post. The front will not camber in that much. It is only a bolt and it will not take them that long to put it in.

Search Function
Front Camber kit search
SPC search

You can always find cheaper online. But sometimes the shop that you want to install it wont install customer supplied parts. As far as the price from a local shop thats prolly not too bad.

I used the search button. It doesn't take that much. and my information is not useless, you just aren't using it right. I told you that your front camber will not camber in that much. It is just a bolt. if you want a number than 1, don't worry about it. But if you want to save your tires get one.

You have to understand that a lot of information on this site has been covered. You can easily find it by searching rather than posting.

I guess $120 is ok, but if you know someone with the tools and the time, it really is not that hard. Might want to invest in some shocks soon. I heard the skunk2s are bouncy.

alright.. i understand what you mean about alot of the information being covered... which is true. I just wanted to get some opinions, thats all. I took your advice wrong, which is muh bad.

but yeah... dont know anyone with the tools (wish i did), im thinking with the $80 i saved on the kit i can spend on the labor. So thank you to all that posted, really helped me out.

shocks are on my "next to do list". you heard right... skunk2s are bouncier than pamela lee's chest in those baywatch beach runs! my dad drove my car a couple times to work... when he came home he said "your car makes me dizzy and it gave me a headache" hahaha oops!

yeah sleeves are bouncy. You have to get something from Skunk2 in order for the konis to fit. so when you decide to get shocks, call up skunk2 and get that piece.

damn, I called around here today asking everyone how much they woruld charge to install the rear kit. it was from $65 for both all the way to $75 for each side. I am probably going to go to this racing shop tomorrow and have it done. they said $80 for both. The place that said $65 is kinda a crumy muffler shop.

I am happy that you found this thread useful. But again, i did a search and found all the information he needed. I am glad you searched, but you just brought a thread back from over a month ago, so no need to carry on about comments made in this thread. it is done and over with. And to be honest, I think i was quite decent about my comment. I told him what I thought without being mean. He got the information that he needed and you got the information you needed, so please back off from the comments.

its all good people! everything was just a misunderstanding... thanks for the comments pibe54! glad to hear it helped ya out.

*UPDATE*

i just had the kit installed yesterday... the ride is FREAKING AWESOME, you can totally tell the difference, my ride is less bouncier and a bit smoother... im not sure if the camber kit can do all that.. but i do notice a big difference in ride quality and it was all after the camber kit install. so for those of you who are thinking twice about getting the kit. think no more and BUY IT! SPC CAMBER KITS!

hmm the camber kit shouldn't help with the bouncing, that must all be in your head ....you need to get some konis to finish up the project

hahaha yeah... i figured the camber kit couldnt do all that much... it could be that i raised up the coilovers a bit... hahahaha either way the ride is WAY better!

yeah... looking to get some shocks next, but want to finish the exterior, gonna get some side skirts and a rear valance to go with my front lip which has been sitting in my room unpainted and lonely for about a year?!
