Rob:
The control arms come with a special socket thats included in the kit. Well I don't know if it can be called a kit, but 2 control arms, 2 stickers, 1 socket, instructions. It's very nice.

Good stuff! I bought the metal for making my own set of rear lower control arms a while back. All I need is the gold part in the picture. I guess it's some sort of a pivot point? Maybe I can use a huge roller bearing? Is the stock one encased in rubber to allow some flexibility?
Bwahahaha $180 for that ****.....
I could buy the material for under $10
I could machine both those in under a hour by hand on a standard bridgeport mill....
I would just have to find out how much i could get that joint bearing for...
Get enough people who want these I'll take them into my CNC shop and make them for a lot better price.

Acually, good aluminum costs about $40 for as much as you need to make those. At least from the supplier that I bought from (McMaster.com). I bought an alloy used in aircraft though that's much stronger than plain old aluminum. This means that I get to make them a little lighter.
Now all I need is a mill.
Waa!!!
Now all I need is a mill.
Waa!!! 6061 Alum which is aircraft grade I can get for around $2.50 a pound and even less if I pick up rems.
McMaster Carr is way way way over priced. ( I work in a machien shop we order all kinds of stuff form McMasters and a lot of other suppliers.)
I have a mill and a lathe in my garage and my dad run a full blown machine shop.
If i get enough people who want some I'll fabricate soem for a good price.

nothing. They save like 2lbs, but that is it. if you are doing some hardcore road racing they might help but otherwise they are for the bling bling factor.
Its a celebration bitches!

they are stronger than stock, my friend had both of his front LCA's ripped out of the bolts, he has a nissan 300zx... if you do alot of road racing i reccomend this, this is where most of the wear and tear starts especiall in the front ones
the are stronger and will not rip, i would like to get front and back ones...

These LCA's are admitingly only for the bling factor but on www.danscreations.com it says that you are able to run wider tires with these. Are they shorter than stock, even by a few mm? That way they would pull the bottom of the tire closer to the middle of the car, thus allowing more camber correction up top right? That way we might be able to get the correct camber on the rear without having to roll fenders. Well, of course not everyone would have this problem, but people that are slammed on Neuspeed Race like I am would.
