are camber kits necessary?

i bought some skunk2 coilovers for my 2001 honda civic. i plan on putting them on next weekend. i was just wondering if camber kits are really required, and what exactly they do. i plan on lowering my car about 1.5" in the front and rear. also, ive seen some upper rear strut tower bars. i was thinking about buying one, but then i looked in my car, and i cant find where you would attach it. i looked in the trunk where the top of the wheel well is, and there is just a rounded piece of metal there, no bolts or screws or anything. has anyone gotten a rear strut bar for their car? did i just miss the place they would attach (it was kinda dark in my garage)?

I see that you are new. Please read the FAQ in my signature, search the site, and read Zzyzx's suspension tuning 101 above. There is a search function.

No a camber kit is not necessary but you will ruin your tires faster. Yes there is a place for strut bars, behind the carpet and in the engine bay. There are bolts for the rear strut bar. Your options for the rear are Cusco (probably the best), OBX, and generic.

Again, please use the search function. a lot of this has been covered. Do your research before you do anything to your car.
