DIY questin.......?
Alright i just got some brand new Toyo Proxes. gotta love'em! and ive been waiting to drop my car with the help of the DIY. but that last bolt to take apart the struts makes me kinda nervous. so my question is...has anybody droped their car latley, themselfs, succesfully, without any injury or missing parts???

Ok heres what you do, when you get the Strut assembly out of the car, slowly start taking the nut off till it is got 1 to 1 1/2 turns left on it. Then place the bottom of the strut assembly against something and point it towards the ground. Like a big tree or something. Make sure that nothing is around it that could get broken. Put the racket or wrench that you are using back on the loose nut. Put a towel around the top section and over the tool with the end sticking out. Stand as far away as you can put close enough that you can still reach the tool. The give it the last turn and jump out of the way as fast as you can. Thats it. Repeat for all four. LOL Good Luck.

Installed with my friend. diy of course. We did not use spring compressors. But you can always rent one at autozone . If you are worried, take it in and get it profesionally done. I am sure there are plenty performance shops in CA.
