Hi all, i've searched a bit for the correct torque settings for the nuts on the front strut towers, but i've only seen one suggestion of 43 ft/lbs. Does anyone know the specific setting... i'm puttin on a sway bar and i don't want to over tighten.

Suspension specs...
Front nuts and bolts that hold shock assembly to brake assembly(2 on each side):
116ft lbs. (includes oem replacement bolts)

Front end links:
29ft lbs

Front bolts that hold the bracket and bushings on front sway bar:
29ft lbs

Front nut that secures tie rod to shock assembly:
32ft lbs

Front and rear shock tower nut in center (on top of shock)
33ft lbs

Front three shock tower nuts (on top of shock around center bolt)
33ft lbs

Front brake hose and wheel sensor harness bracket bolts:
10mm one: 7.2ft lbs
12mm one: 16ft lbs

Rear bolts to rear upper arm or camber kit (all three):
43ft lbs

Rear nuts on end links:
top: 28ft lbs
bottom: 29ft lbs

Rear bolt that holds brackets and bushings on rear sway:
16ft lbs

Rear bolt that holds bottom of rear shock:
45ft lbs

Rear two shock tower nuts:
43ft lbs

it is 33ft/ lbs

hmmm, does over-torquing just a little bit matter really? (well, i'm too weak to even go much over 33 ft/lbs anyway but still). right now they're on just hand-tightened.....is that okay?

hand tightened as you tightened them just with your fingers or hand tightened as you used a rachet? if you used a rachet that should be fine. I never torqued mine and haven't had a problem. If you just used your hand then go check them NOW and tighten them with a rachet.

^^ agreed... just remember how much force you used to take it off.. thats how much force you use to put it on.... general rule of thumb...

haha. nah, i didn't mean just with my fingers. yeah, i used a ratchet. thanks for the help, though
